YOU OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE HAS RECENTLY
ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
The National Center for Suicide Survivors realizes there is a window of opportunity following an attempted suicide. Utilizing an innovative and proven approach, our mission is to eliminate future attempts and to save lives. We dream of a world with ZERO suicides.

THERE IS HOPE
The National Center for Suicide Survivors uses a unique Intensive Suicide Survivors Treatment (ISST) for those who have attempted suicide and features Attempted Suicide Short Intervention Program (ASSIP). ASSIP, a Swiss originated approach, has demonstrated an unprecedented 80% reduction in repeat suicide in research. ISST consists of an initial intake session to establish that we are a good fit followed by four intensive individual sessions (with the option to participate virtually or in-person). As part of ISST, caregivers and primary supports will be required to participate in video training. Lastly, six care letters will be sent over the course of 24-months along with an invitation to join our online community of suicide survivors for ongoing support.
